We are unable to specify what time of the day the delivery will be made as it is a “Next Day” courier service from the collection day from us and therefore it might be delivered in the evening of the requested delivery date. If you are planning to lay it early in the day, you should therefore select a delivery date for the day before you plan to lay it. (If you require an estimated time of arrival, please request this by replying to your order confirmation email on the morning of the scheduled delivery date.)

By a heavy goods vehicle lorry with tail lift and pallet truck to the closest point to the customer's order shipping address, that the delivery driver deems as suitable, safe and accessible for their heavy goods vehicle to be parked and off-loaded with a tail lift and a manually operated pallet truck which will only operate on smooth (non-gravelled), solid, level surface to offload the pallets onto.

That depends on the time of year and the temperature. Being a perishable product, each order is harvested fresh to order and should be laid as soon as possible, especially during hot weather. If necessary, it should be rolled out on a temporary area and kept sufficiently watered.

Try to stay off the lawn until the new roots have transplanted into the soil, binding it together and making it firmer to withstand potential foot impressions.

These are formed from spores which occur naturally in fertile soils when disturbed by the harvesting process. They are completely harmless and normally only occur in the first year, during conditions of warm, wet weather.

Certain types of grubs or slugs can cause severe damage to lawns by eating the grass roots. Sometimes birds feeding on these pests during the Autumn/Winter periods will be a sign of a potential problem. Identify the exact pest present and then apply a suitable insecticide as stated on the product label.
